It says "This Seller sent you an offer" There is a Checkbox to the right and, alongside this, the words "Apply this to get 10% Off" appear At the top of the Checkout Page there is a Green Banner. When I checked just now, and attempted to purchase from the Carts, not one of the 9 Carted Listings had your Abandoned Cart Coupon directly applied in the Coupon Box.īut there is something I have not seen before. So that is 9 different opportunities for a Coupon to be "automatically" applied. I used Chrome, Edge and Firefox Browser on a PC and on a Mobile Device, from 3 different Shops. ![]() Just to let you know, I carted one item from your Shop earlier today. Is there any way when creating a listing, to make that specific listing ineligible for am pleased to hear that the issue is, at least for a time, resolved for you. It seems like between the spammy Thank You coupon offer in messages and now this, we have less and less control over how we conduct business in our shops. I have had customers purchase ready made items from my shop, and then return for custom work, so the Thank You coupon would now be automatically applied to their offer. My abandoned cart coupon brought in a bit over 2k in sales over the past year +, my thank you coupon over $4,500. Which means now I have to disable all of my coupons, which help my revenue stream. They can they remove the coupon at check out, but that just seems so ridiculous and unprofessional for me to have to ASK my customer to remove a coupon from their cart. This system works really well for me, but now with this automatic coupon application, if a custom client leaves their custom order in their cart for a time (which they do) the coupon is then automatically applied. I then create a new listing and send the customer the link, and they typically purchase anywhere from right away to several hours later. ![]() I am up front about this fact when a custom order is set up, and I don't have customers purchase their custom order until all floral arrangements are done and I have final approval on all the pieces. The problem is that I don't honor coupon codes for custom orders and I do a lot of custom wedding work in summer and fall. I have an abandoned cart coupon, along with a Thank You coupon to previous buyers and a favorited items coupon, all for 10% off. So I realized today that Etsy seems to be automatically applying coupons to customer's carts.
